Resident companies and presenting partners collaborate with The Legacy Theatre to showcase the best performing arts in the region. Performing arts groups and independent producers are invited to inquire about presenting their events at The Legacy.

ROXY THEATRICALS

Roxy Theatricals was founded in 1995 to present quality theatrical and musical productions for central Illinois Audiences. Roxy Theatricals stages full productions, and has presented The Marvelous Wonderettes, The Drowsy Chaperone, Spring Awakening, Legally Blonde, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Sunset Boulevard, Songs for a New World, and Thoroughly Modern Millie at The Legacy. Additional area productions include Disney’s High School Musical 1 and 2 at Sangamon Auditorium.

THE SANDBOX CHILDREN’S THEATRE COMPANY

The Sandbox Children’s Theatre Company was founded in 2011 to create quality theatrical experiences to entertain, inspire and educate children and families. It is the Sandbox desire to inspire young people to make new discoveries about themselves and the world around them, and develop a lifelong interest in the arts. Productions by the Sandbox Children’s Theatre Company may feature adult actors in works for children, as well as providing performing opportunities for young people.
